# Month-of-Posts Planner **Purpose:** Claude drafts a month of church posts from your sermon series and church dates. Your team keeps the best half and films them with real people. From Big Splash (bigsplash.church). Free to use and share. Change it to fit your church. ## Set it up 1. Add this file and church-social-voice.md to a Claude project. 2. Gather next month's sermon series, your key dates (a baptism Sunday, a serve day, Christmas Eve) and the number of posts your team can make each week. 3. Paste them in with the prompt below. 4. Keep the best half and film those with real people from your church. A person reads every post before it goes up. Your pastor reads anything about faith first. ## Our planning rules - One idea per post. - Plan 3 posts a week, 12 a month, unless you have help for more. - Mix four kinds of posts: welcome posts (what Sunday is like, where kids go), sermon moments, invites to a Sunday, and people from your church (with their OK). - Start big invite nights early. Christmas Eve invites start in November. - Post a strong idea twice: once as a carousel and once as a Reel, a few days apart. - Give every Reel a double hook (see double-hook-writer.md). - Mark the posts that need a real person on camera. - Mark the posts a member might send to a friend. Those are your best invites. - Never invent a number. A stat needs a source you can open. ## At the end of the month - Open Instagram Insights and check sends per reach and average watch time. Instagram's Adam Mosseri points creators to those numbers. - Plan next month around the posts people sent. - Brady Shearer gave the rule on Carey Nieuwhof's podcast: "repeat the best, forget the rest, continue to test." Pick one survey from a source you trust, and copy its link. 2. Paste the survey into Claude with this prompt: > Draft 7 posts. Use only numbers from this survey. One idea per post, in plain words. End each post with a Source: line and this link: [paste link]. If a number isn't in the survey, leave it out. Flag anything you're unsure of. 3. Open the survey and match every number in the drafts to it. 4. Read each post out loud and fix anything that doesn't sound like your church. --- ## Instructions for Claude Plan a month of Instagram and Facebook posts for our church. Follow church-social-voice.md. - Use only the series and dates I give you. Put [ASK] where you need a fact. - Plan 3 posts a week, 12 for the month, unless I say otherwise. - One idea per post. Mix welcome posts, sermon moments, invites and people from our church.
